Nashua_Night_Hawk

I never noticed that the NITTO 555 235/40/18 has 91 load rating and the CLS requires 93-XL is that okay!!! Anyone asked Acura Tech line, Nitto or any tire manucfacturer for that matter.

I am very concered for the load rating. I do not want to take any chances.

Otherwise, I have to cancel the Nitto Order and go with TOYO Proxies T1-S 235/40/18.

Please help!

The rating on the CL-P is only 91. The CL-S does not weigh that much more than the CL-P, so I think that the 91 rated tire should be ok on the CL-S!

Just my opinion though, dont quote me on it!

I just talked to the guy who sold me my new wheel/tire package. I am worried that NITTOs have 91 rating instead of 93 on my Stock tires.

Hear this:

He checked a book and said:" The Acura CL 3.2 2001, requires a tire loading of 90." Yes, he said it just 90. He added, I will show you the book when you drop by.

I am stil calling Acura Care to check with them if that is OKay.
