Nitrous on the highway

Has anyone done any highway runs with nitrous? What are the a/f ratios at that speed and load? I was thinking about spraying but i'm not into drag racing the CLS, but more along the lines of highway runs every once in a while. Has anyone ever sprayed on a highway run?

Highway runs? That's the only place I used my 2 bottles, well two and a half till my motor blew. I did not have an a/f gauge but it's definitely safer to use nitrous in higher rpm ranges above 2500. I used it once from a dead start and got major intake backfire. If you're only using a 55 or 75 shot everything will be just fine. But freeway runs are awesome. Especially when you pull up next to people and juice it. You can hear the jet releasing NOS into your engine, it's pretty noticable and sweeeeeet.

My a/f is on the rich side. For us Auto folks, you won't notice much of a difference when you hit the dreaded 4th gear.

3rd is fun as hell though.

You must be a mind reader because you just answered the question I was thinking about asking...
