NGK IX Part number for the CLS, BKR6EIX-11 or ZFR6FIX-11 !!!

I emailed NGK tech support for the correct part number for the CL-S.

Here is their answer:

The spark plug you need is a ZFR6FIX-11 stock number 6441.
Checking with the EUT forum The IK20 equivalent is listed as: BKR6EIX-11

So which one is the correct one?

Checking with NGK decoding pdf, it seems that BKR=== FR but I do not know about the Why FIX "Special feature code" instead of EIX.

The BKR6EIX-11 has part number 3764.
So for sure those are 2 diffrent spark plugs.

I emailed NGk again for clarification.

Here is the reply:

The ZF is an extended projected spark plug.
So I guess the correct one: is ZFR6FIX-11 stock number 6441.

Cool, this is good info for later reference. Save this info in a Parts FAQ if there is one.

Get plugs that are 1 temp cooler. Cant hurt to have lowere cooling.

Stock CL/TL are: PZFR5F-11
I would get PZFR6F-11 , which is equivalent to stock Prelude spark plus.

More info about "Projected Spark Plug":

Projected Core Nose: This type sticks the spark 1/8" into the combustion chamber. This helps prevent low speed and cold fouling and also gets cooled by the incoming charge at high speed. It is difficult to build a projected plug in very cold heat ranges however, because of the long ground wire, which is typically the hottest part of the plug. To a very limited degree, this plug behaves as though the ignition were more advanced, because it places the flame more centrally in the chamber.

Therefore, I understand that the "Projected NGK Irdium Plug" is the High performance version
