EDIT: BTW, it it was an auto I wouldn't even consider the car.

I paid 17,999 for my blk/blk non-navi auto with 40k miles - the inside didnt have a crease or a scratch - and when i turned it on, I thought it was broken cause I couldnt hear the engine....came out to less than 20,000 canadian(after taxes and haggling) - I paid high I believe - but the thing is pristine, and untill the auto tranny goes - it will be the best $ I ever spent.

I would try shopping outside of Maryland, hell even right here in the black market. Then you can research the car, owner, etc.. I still think it's too high. I sold my '01 NBP/Parchment non-navi w/68k miles, lightly modded, perfect condition and pampered aside from a few minor dings, for $13,500.

Type R?

Why are you even bothering with the AT? Do you not want a 6spd? Or are you so set on NBP/Ebony that you are blind to the tranny problem? Don't take me the wrong way, I'm just trying to figure this out.

This guy's at $18k and I bet he'll come down if he still has it.
