Sounds good. I personally don't like the way it looks with the factory spoiler, but the M5 spoiler looks good. Coloring matching shouldn't be a problem unless it has been repainted or has faded severly.

Any plans for mods (i.e. lowering, wheels, headers, etc.)????

No clue yet not for awhile though, my parents bought it for me and wouldn't let me pay a dime for it cause they feel I should save my money for moving out in a year after college if I want rather then on a car.

Hello To and From another Newbie

I'm also a newbie - I'm now the proud 2nd owner of a San Marino Red 01 CL-S with 34K. I got it a couple of weeks back and have perused this site for a couple of weeks prior to buying. This site ROCKS! It helped solidify my decision to go with a CL-S. (Had a '92 Integra before this). I'd like to see some pix of someone's guage cluster replacement. (I haven't seen any yet.) I hope this post hits correctly - Nice to be on board

Newbie also

I'm a newbie also. Bought a 01 Silver Type-S for 16K with Navigation. Everyone in here seems pretty cool and a wealth of knowledge is here. One thing, the Cl's aren't fast. I saw a guy in here saying he had a blower on his CL and ran a 14.2 (pretty slow). They are just sweet a** cars. The only thing I plan to do mine is convert navi screen to TV/DVD screen.

By the way I saw one guy was from Austin in this thread.......I'm in Dallas, originally from Round Rock (where my car actually is right now )

I'm also a newbie got my car 3 weeks ago 01 Silver Type-S for 17K with 40k miles. By reading the threads it seems that the basic bolt ons can give you the same 1/4 times as a S/C.

Sup Newbies. Welcome to the board. The fools from Texas that I met are cool as F_ _ _! ATown, you gotta account for that fact that these cars are heavy sunsabitches. You gotta come to the next meet, you'll see what I'm talking bout when I say these guys are cool. Check out the thread about Meet and Eat in Houston, people are setting up the next meet. To the other newbs, I bet if you make it out to a local meet the guys are just as cool.

Again, welcome to the board rookies.

Yeah I hope his car was a P.O.S. to only run low 14's with a blower. That is called a waste of money. I had a 96 Mustang GT that would scoot a lottle bit.....nothing crazy, but my CL is like driving a Bentley compared to that Mustang. I fell in love with it the moment I drove it.

By the way, does anyone have some stock 17's they want to sell me, no scratches?
