i just bought a 2003 acura cl type-s on monday. absolutely love the car. i cannot complain about anything really, except for the fact that the factory radio and speakers kind of suck. but i have a few questions, and i searched mildly, but i figured i would get my answers quicker by doing it here. i will delete my thread when all my questions are answered.

1-what can i expect out of the 1/4 mile with this cl-s automattic?

2-at what speed does our governor kick in?

3-do we have a rev limiter? (havent really gotten on it yet)

4-can we beat GTP's and mustang gt's?

sorry for all the newbie questions. we were all there once. i had a 2000 grand am before this and have been a forum member there for 3 year so im not a newbie to the boards.

1) Bone stock between 14.8-15.1 Id say.
2) 147-148mph
3)Rev limiter i tihnk is somewhere around 7200rpm
4)GTP's will win stock race, so will mustang gt stock race

14.8 to 15.1? thats all. feels alot faster then that.

my buddies grand am ran a 15.2 and i got to drive it and it doesnt feel nearly as fast as this.

we cant beat a gtp or even at least a mustang? where can i read reviews about stuff like this? i wanna see how stock cl-s's compare to other cars. anyone know?

car feels FUCKIN FAST cause VTEC w/ V6, freeflow exhaust, but remeber it is a lux. coupe so it is heavy but can be easily modded to low 14's - headers, CAI, exhuast. we pull pretty well against 3 series, i beat a 330ci (5 speed) and a 325Ci (auto). GTP's give us a god run but we can't take 280 tourque

u CAN beat a gtp no prob, u need headers to beat a gt stang

those are acurate numbers, but in reality, you should test it yourself and give us your results.

it really isnt important to me. i just wanted to know the numbers and facts on my car. my racing and track days are over. that is.......unless someone pulls up to me all cocky.
