...Newbie...

Hello everyone, just saying hi and welcoming myself to the boards.

Recently I bought a used CL-S for a new daily to tool around in, while I work on my other car and van. Currently there are more projects going on than I'd rather be dealing with but I knew the Acura would be a great drive in the meanwhile.

I've been cruising the forums here and they've proved really helpful. I wont be modding this car ( I dont think ) so I'll have to be that 4x4 guy that everyone pesters. I've got a flame suit on standby so lay it on me, I'd do the same. I already own a car lower than my morals so another just isnt effective right now.

Other than that I do love the car and look forward to more speeding ticke... um, reliable drives to and from work.

Oh its hit me already, dont get me wrong. I mean to me a car is like well developed male gonads... its not good until its completely dropped into place but with this car I really dont want that. Currently I have well over 10grand into my Jetta with another 5grand in boxes still waiting for me to install them. I have atleast another 10grand planned out for my Van, but for the Acura I just want to drive it... albeit, maybe only for now.

I know I know... the wheel gap is on my last nerve. That and the fact that I dont believe Acura could have possibly designed and uglier wheel. In keeping it stock (or very close to ) I may have to go with an Eibach pro kit and some other OEM wheel.

LOL, I'm well acustomed to Forum boards... and even dabble in a lil moderation myself.

Im a VW lover at heart and have been an active member on VWvortex.com for years. I'm also one of the Technical Moderators at Vannin.com for all your 2% Vanning needs.

The only thing different that I see from me and some of you guys is styling but to each is own. If I were to mod my car and perhaps one day I will, I can tell you it wouldnt look like most here. As a European lover first, I'm into a more Euro style.

My car would have no bigger than 17's w/ stretched tires, more dish than Chicago pizza, pulled fenders, laid on the ground like a hippy at a concernt, debadged, full sway/strut package, and ofcourse your full range of go fast goodies.

Maybe I'll swing by... I'm actually big into the VW events so my time is spread thin. We too have a GTG there at Ross docks though called the Enfig BBQ and its a great place to chill for an afternoon. We'll see though, thanks for the heads up.
