I am just waiting a call back comfirmation for the installation and before and after dyno for tomorrow at 8:00AM

BlackmagiCL-S would get my OBX headers and it would be installed on his CLS... He has no other performance mod.

He is dynoing before and after too!

Thanks for all your work Nashua! I would never voluntarily wake up for an 8:00am appointment on a Saturday

Cruelty? I hope that was sarcasm...

Gee.... get a good price on hardly used OBX headers and get to see the dyno of the gains? hhh...tough one.

Damn that Nashua is cruel (sarcasm). Okay...the Saturday 8AM appointment is a little cruel but I have afternoon plans so I did it to myself.

BlackmagiCL_S,

One thing, I have been trying to reach the installation shop just after I talked to you on the phone.. with no luck...no one has picked up the call.. It seems that he bailed out and went home early... becasue of the snow storm

I left a message on his answering machine... Luckly he would pickup the message before it is too late for tomorrow early morning installation.

Well, lets plan on meeting for the install and if you hear that it won't happen then send me a message or call and we can cancel. The snow should be over so I bet he will be open. If it needs to be later than 8:00 that it won't be a problem. Maybe we should show up at 9:00 to give them time to plow and shovel out?

Lets leave it like this...send me a PM tomorrow morning (PM in the AM?) and let me know if you are heading there. If they open at 8:00 and we show at 8:30 or so then maybe we will officially be going without an "appointment" but if he said that he could do it (without a confirm) before he bailed due to the snowstorm then I bet we'll be okay since he has to be understanding if he left early. Don't know what else to say...

It seems that we have to reschedule the dyno for next Tuesday

On the good side, before then, I would be able to do a 45kmiles tune up

Also. I am working to see if we can get you:

1) A 6-Speed version.
2) A first-generation CL version.

Ah well...I was hoping to rip up the highway this weekend with the OBX headers but now I have to wait until next weekend. Oh wait...I can STILL rip up the highway even without the headers.

Don't worry forum readers, I am just as (more?) disappointed that you!

The polar weather is on your side... 23 F and Sunny, Hi Pressure.. 40% humidity... will make the CLS rips the HW... like a grizzly!

It would have been an ideal day for a dyno...

Well, I don't think that there is snow expected until Monday...may be I'll spray off my car. If I am really motivated, maybe I'll put on my CL-S door sills.

Damn you....soon those header will be mine! ha ha ha haaaa (maniacle laugh). I was a dummy and washed my car at the no-touch place. After that I went to meet a buddy for lunch and by the time I got there my car was yucky again. There goes $7.

hhhhmmmmm...lunch with the girls is running late. See...if we HAD done the headers todat we would have had lots o' time. During the week I'll be pushed for time.

Before going to the shop? Are you mad? It is a Saturday morning!!!!

I doubt that I'd meet up before. It is tough enough to get my @ss out of bed to go to work, nevermind go to breakfast! I am the farthest thing from a morning person. I think that we'll have plenty of time to talk while the install is going on and make plans. If we are done early enough maybe we can grab a quick bite afterward or something.

A'ight...just checkin'. I'm not really a morning person, either, but breakfast is always good. Cool...I'll see if I can make it there Saturday morning...I'm not too far away from there.

I could be convinced to venture over to Nashua for a lunchtime breakfast. I'll want to drive a bit after the headers are installed anyway! Lets see how long all this takes and figure it out from there.

If there are going to be 3 of us in CLs it might be fun to snap a picture of the cars all together. I guess that means we'd have to wash them tho'. Perhaps at the Laser wash Nashua mentioned last weekend.

That would be cool. Yeah, my baby DEFINITELY needs a bath! Of course, if I don't wash it then it will be all salty and white...it could be an oreo cookie picture .

Okay...so I guess the plan is that Nashua and I get the headers installed at 9:00 in Pelham. Bulldog01, you will try and meet us there at some point that morning. After the install, we'll get our cars washed for a mini-meet photo-shoot and then maybe if time allows grab a bite to eat? Sounds pretty cool to me!

Guys,

I hope the snow will end by 9:00 AM. It would be around 1". I will call Wang to double confirm the installation appointment. The car wash is open 24/7 all the year. Usually, I only bring with me a few terry towels to dry up my CLS.

Also, I wanted to let you know that this Wang Shop Charges a 3.5% Fee for using credit card. This is what happened last time I was there. This time, I will carry cash, since I do not know if he does ever accept personal checks.

Here is the hourly outlook for Saturday morning: http://wwwa.accuweather.com/adcbin/p...ent=6&metric=0

I called Wang. He said if there is a Snow Storm then he would call me on my cell phone and most probably he would either cancel it or make the installation afternoon. I mentioned that the forecast is calling only for 1" of light snow and would be ending by 9:00 AM. He added if it is just "dusting" then no problem at all.

In any case, we will be at his shop this Saturday at 9:00 AM.

that look 100% excatly like my obx. the way it was welded inside and how the oxygen sensor spot is. i think you show measure it. when i install my headers. the sensor was too high and it hit the pan. So when the pan got hot. it burn my wires and i started having low idle.
