New Koni yellows + extensions

installed a set konis on thursday. the car rides sooo good now. the car was bouncy on full soft and just right at half a turn. cranked them to full firm last night and i felt car sick from driving arond the city for 20 min. i made the extensions and they are chomed btw. here are some pics:

You felt the car was bouncy with the C/T springs and STOCK shocks..... ???

I need to get those Koni Yellows..

i felt the car was bouncy at the softest setting on the konis. i was giving my friend, who helped me install the shocks, a ride home and on the freeway he says to me "they're stiffer, but the car bounces like a ricemobile." imo half a turn feels like stocks, stiff yet compliant.

the strutbar was removed when the shocks came off. if you look in the lower left of the first pic, you can see a spring in a compressor.

how about a small DC step motor to control the stiffness on 4 corners. You can have a control lnob next to the VSA too

that's an awesome idea. any idea on how to put one together? how would i built a controller?

thanks for the idea and help nashua. i think i'll do that when i return from my last quarter of school at around thanksgiving (woohoo.) i'm going to the car to check for clearences now.

they make it so you can adjust the damping (stiffness) of the rear shocks without removing the rear seats and deck tray. look at the pictures again.

I've been thinking of the motorized konis this since the thread. Nashua, great idea! I followed the link you posted and its just a chip. I assume you would have to custom build this.

Are you aware of any existing product(s) you can use for this purpose? Even something that can be slightly modified to work?

Sorry, that sounds a little weird. What I meant to ask is if you had any pics of them off the car by themselves.
