new buyer in the market for a CL
Hi everyone,
I have been reviewing these forums and they are a great help. I currently drive a 1994 olds cutlass supreme. it was my highschool car that I have had for over 7 years now. I have graduated and have a job where I have definitly more than my highschool job offered me. I am looking at CL's and TL's used in the 01-03 range. I definitly want a type S regardless of which I buy but I had a few questions.
1: what, if any are the differences in the 02-03 besides foglights and the optional standard tranny?
2: If I got a 01-03 cl type s with out a spoiler how much would one run me installed from factory or A/M that is the same stype as the oem one?
3: I am getting one within 2 weeks and would anyone have any suggestions as to why a CL over a TL. I really liek the rear body look of the CL over the TL and I hear the type S cl has .5 wider tires bu is there anything else I am missing?

Welcome to the forum.
If you can swing it, get the 6 speed. Other than that, the 01 did not have painted door handles and different side view mirrors. They did have road lamps.
As for spoilers, you can get the M5 lip spoiler or an OEM type.
I would get the CL over the TL unless you plan on driving around a lot of friends.
