Neuspeed Short Shift buy info.....

Just so others know the Neuspeed Short shifter is 53 bucks out the door shipped for free if you buy soon... regular price is like 90 bucks. It took 1 day to arrive at my door and tomarrow it will be installed. Whooohoooo... So if anyone is interested now is the time to do the purchase. They will take phone call purchases if any of you are worried about credit card numbers over the internet for the same internet price.... Hope this helps

Thanks, but others have experinced problems with the unit after install, so I think I will hold off. The shift seems short enough for me as it is.

I posted this about 2 weeks ago. Do a search and you'll find it. I installed it, and it is fine. you just have to shave the bottom of the white trim piece at the top. Otherwise the metal shift piece will hit it when you shift to 135. I have mine installed and love it. The reduced throw feels great. There is another thread on the install with pics.

I did not noticed any problems with it... easy install... I would never pay 90 bucks for piece of metal, drill bit and screws.. I paid 49.95 and had it in a week.... it has been in since last week and it is awesome...

I got anxious. I put it in last night. Wow much faster shift and my friend who is always the a passanger never a driver of my car says he notices it as well. If there is one thing that I wish I would have done different is buy the damn thing earlier. Grinding the plastic was not a prob and I feel that it did nothing to the integerity of that piece. Very happy I am

I got mine on Wed., installed it in about 20 minutes (you slow pokes taking and hour. :P ) and have driven it for two days. I am absolutely in love with the new feel. Although it is a bit firmer, it also feels more precise with secure engagements along with the known shorter throws.

Im gald you are all happy. The only thing I dont get is Neuspeed needed a CL to make the piece, wouldn't they test it. It is pretty easy to find out it doesn't fit properly. Just don't understand how they didn't notice the whole thing popping out. Otherwise I am 99.9% happy with it. My trim piece is alittle loose from taking it out so much and fitting that damn momo boot under it, so I just used some double sided tape to make sure it stays in place.

Will these neuspeed short shifters fit on a 1999 2.3 CL?? I went to the site and looked under that car and didnt find any. Do i need to modify a 2003 short shifter or dot hey make them for my car?

Sorry Brian
Not to steal the spotlight. It was probabally your thread that caused me to buy the thing and I just wanted to share the love. Also I did this cause I found that the price is usually like 90 bucks and currently the price was around 48 bucks. I thought this was a deal and wanted to help others capitalize on this like I was able to.
Lets all give thanks for superchargers, headers, all after market parts and Brian for helping bring these mods to out attention. Amen LOL I feel like I'm in the F and F. Sitting down with Mr Deisel before eatin some chicken on da picnic table.
