Need your help guys, HID light giving me problems..

My front headlight got stolen years back.Now the HID that got replaced flickers and works or flickers and does not work sometimes.. Any of you guys know what might be wrong?

was the replacement OEM or aftermarket?
If its OEM I would just take it to the dealership to get it fixed.
