Hello everyone,

So i'm still in the market of upgrading to the TL. I have received a couple of quotes just need to sit down and go through everything. (hopefully that'll be the only thing stopping me) Anyway i had a couple questions...

1) Could someone either provide me with, or point me in the direction of how to find out specs for our 01 CL-Type S? I'm more so concerned with the back seat and what those specs include. If someone could help me out there it would be great.

2) What would be a good sale price if i were to sell my car rather than trading it in? Because i already got it appraised at an Acura dealership and they were only going to give $11,000. And then he called me back saying that he could get me $300-400 more. So i'll go with 11,350. If i were to sell it, what would be a good price to look for?

FWIW: My '02 CL-S with 93k miles on it otherwise in great condition was appraised for $10,000 at CarMax. I'd assume you could get $12,000-$13,000 private party. However, be prepared to sit and wait for a buyer. I've been selling my CL-S for nearly 3 months now.

Thanks for the info. mrsteve! So i took mine to Carmax also and they offered me $14,000!!! And from what you were saying this would be excellent... correct? Let me know.

Just a side note, what are you trying to get next since you've been trying to sell yours?

For a good estimate check Kelly Blue Book and NADA for private party sales. If the car looks good, you can sell quickly. My 95 Legend went in one day at asking price.
