Need some help on spark plug gap for CL-S
I just bought some Laser Platinum PZFR6E-11 plugs and they are gapped at around .039 At first I thought they had to be gapped at .044 , But when I pulled the plugs out of my car they were at .039? Is this correct? May be the dealer didn't gap them and left them at .039 from NGK? The car I have is a 2002 CL Type-S.
Thanks for any input!

0.039 ~ 1mm.
0.044 ~ 1.1mm
Spec is 1 to 1.1 mm on the gap, I believe. You'll probably be OK being on the low end of the spec, as the gap should get larger over time. Being on the high end of the spec may give you a slightly hotter spark, due to the larger gap.
