need recommendations on exhuast

im thinking about adding a exhaust to my 2000 CL S. Only problem is that nobody I know has a CL and I cant find any good info on it. I want something that wont be too loud but gimme that extra pep. I was wondering what brand everyone preferred around here?

thanks.

2000 CL-S. what a rarity. try something besides exhaust. you won't see many gains.

oops. I was thinking one thing and typing another.

thanks for the advice. where can I find a common upgrade path for the CL?

is it even worth modifying? All I really wanted was an intake and possibly an exhaust.

Intake will get you 6-8hp
Headers will get you ~30hp
Exhaust will get you 1-3hp

Get the headers or an intake first... then buy the exhaust last to complete the system

BTW aCura L,
I would take the advice of everyone else and do the intake first, unless of course you have the cash for headers.

WOW Holy shit dude...stop driving ur car now and park that shit in ur living room w/ gates around it. You officially have the ONLY 2000 CL-S in the world

hehehe...if ur gonna go w/ exhaust then get either comptech or Greddy. But IMO I would do the intake first..you won't notice any gains from the exhaust.

ok ok.... dont kill the NOOB. I knew I shouldnt have asked any questions after a few beers. My typing skils arent the greatest adn combine that with some alchohol you end up with an imaginary car. I got a 2001 CL-S.

thanks for the good advice guys. sounds like headers are a really good idea with the most gains in power.

what kind of headers should I look into?

Or get an exahust if your just going for looks and not HP. I wouldnt waste my money on a catback also unless your planning to do some intense modding.
