Need help -Fog light bulb

I changed my fog light bulbs to the PIAA super white 5 watt. They are nice but not bright enough..... can you recommed a brighter white/blue light. Part number and web site would be great.

how much brightness are you expecting from a 5watt wedge bulB? .. i think some people here use the polarg M6.. its a bigger bulb.. but may overheat/burn your housing...

the 18watt bulbs will discolor the top of the housing, but it'll take a long time for that to happen...besides, yer gonna have to physically get on the ground and look up to see it, so it's really not that big of a deal...the rest of the housing stays ok b/c it's not as close to the heat of the bulbs like the top part is

I've used these about 9 months now and haven't noticed any burning, clouding or discoloration. I only use mine at night though. Some leave them on all the time.

Tried ordering from here 3 times. It just gives me a response that the shipment method is not available for my address which is bs because UPS ground delives to me all the time. Did this work for anybody else?

Strange ??

I got the same thing when Trying to Order !

I sent an email to:
sales@cnyconcepts.com

You might do the same. We'll see what we come up with.

My address is Ringgold, Georgia 30736

I think it's a problem with their WebSite

Yes Caddy and Flint same thing just happened to me, so i sent them an Email telling of the problem with shipping. This is crap!!
We'll see if they send a response.
I wanted to get the bulbs ordered today since one of my OEM fogs is out. I figure if i'm going to spend the money, might as well go for the best.

I wouldn't order from them.
I recieved a broken bulb, (damaged in the package NOT by me) several emails have gone unreturned.
They also do not list a phone number on their "contact" page.

infact they say that their phone system is being upgraded?

they are one of the cheapest on the web for the M6 bulb, but buyer beware.

Craig.

Read CHODs FAQ on this

Here:
http://www.geocities.com/gamesmgr/chod/acura/#Light13

I've got to do this too, so this worries me.

Some people Dremel out the hole a little supposedly, but most say it will fit if you push it straight in.

Oh well if it comes broken you can dispute it with the credit card company who will charge it back to them.

it didn't come broken. I broke it trying to push it through that small hole. You would definatly have to grind that hole a little bit to fit the bulb inside..... Does anyone one of another blue/white bulb I can use..... one that will fit in the hole, maybe a 10 watt?
Help!

smitty.. you have to take out the roadlamp housing first and when putting in the bulb..do it GENTLY and twist just a little, and make sure it is in a straight line.. it worked for me the first time i tried.. just be patient. goodluck!!

For the last and final time!....... Polarg M6 bulbs do NOT burn the housing. If you inspect the housing before you install, there is a good chance that the housing is already "burned". I bought a brand new one to replace the old one that had a rock go through it. Right out of the package it was discolored! The one I took out was not discolored. I honestly believe that Acura (nor should we) that the top of the housing does not require smooth finishing as it is never seen and has no effect on the performance of the lamp.

Most fog lights are 35 watts and having 18 helps a little but it is more for appearance than anything else. My GF followed me home last night and I got to see my lights on the road for the first time in 37 months. The factory lights are wimpy!

It's interesting because mine went right through with no clearance issue at all. I guess it depends on the bulb and the individual housing. Some guys have had to take a Dremel tool and slightly enlarge the opening. Are these actually Polarg bulbs?

OK, I ordered the M6's from Cnyconcepts on 5/27 and still NO GODDAMN BULBS!!! WTF is taking soo long. I even told them I am rolling around with 1 light burned out.
Flint and Caddy, have you heard anything from them ?
This is pissing me off

by the way...on an 01-02 CL can you or can you not turn the fogs off ?? (I am not a moron, I had to have Acura reprint me a owners manual) I've even looked for the fuse, but i see none for the fogs because I figure if i have to wait this long,at least i can have them off..
