Sorry I meant smear....not swear. I'm going to be swearing if Acura doesn't help me out with this problem. I always though it was the wipers. I've tried several brands and had the same results. Gee...wonder why.

Good catch!

I remember this issue from waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in early 2000 when the CL first came out.
There was a bad batch of wipers in the first couple thousand built that were “smearing” onto the glass.
I thought this issue was long since a moot point because those wipers have obviously been replaced or worn out by now.

Actually it is the tubing, they replace it and rinse out the system

I'm really looking for a scan of the actual bulletin, so I can get full details and part numbers.

Anyone have it?

I checked through Alldata and they only have scans of recent posted TSBs....some for the new TL and some for the CL. One notably (05-015) for the rear stabilizer link being broken. If it is, then you get both replaced with redesigned parts.

I'm going to check my mine tonight.

Dealer finally faxed over a copy of the TSB. It basically states that the tubing breaks down and contaminates the washer fluid bottle. Fix is to replace all the tubing with a new P/N, flush the bottle, clean the windshield, and install new wipers. It also only applies to a range of VINs.....mine wasn't included.

My question to you all is:
How do you know if you have the new tubing installed from the factory? Mine is black. Was the bad tubing another color?

Dealer is checking up on my above question, but I just wanted verification from you all.
