Navigation Replacement

Wondering if anyone has replaced the factory navi with a tablet. The factory navi is pretty much worthless. Would consider replacing it with an iPad mini. Fitment is the biggest issue and making it look clean. Running the TomTom app, it would do a much better job than the old factory unit.

I was thinking this over the other day, and decided that simply suction cup mounting a new standalone GPS to the factory GPS screen would be both the best position for it and an insult to the old unit simultaneously.

Very possible that I'd just throw the Mac mini or other 7" tablet over the factory unit. That way it can easily be removed and I don't have to bother with pulling the factory unit.
