Navigation question? Infiniti or Acura?

Acura by a landslide.
Acura = touch screen, larger screen, voice activation, overall just better
Infiniti: Major complaint is you cant use it while driving. I hate that more than anything as most of the time i have a passenger that puts in info when I am driving. Major detriment to the usability in my eyes

Does this mean you've got it narrowed down to these 2 cars and the one w/ the better nav system wins?

I was under the impression that lexus and infiniti's systems both do not allow you to program a destination in while driving? This means any changes must be done while the car is stopped
Has that been changed for the 05 models?

Sorry I must not be explaining well.
In lexus and Infiniti (if nothing was changed for 05, had no idea they now have a voice navigation, are we sure on that?) you must program the car with your destination while stopped. Then it will give you the directions and show them to you as you are driving. So it will give you directions while driving but if you want to change destinations or put in a new one you must pull the car over to do that.
I am a much bigger fan of how acura lets you, or the passenger, put in destinations while the car is moving.

I miss my 03 CL-S :(
I test drove the G35c/navi after I lost my CL and was shopping for cars and my impression was that the navi was poor. The graphics were pretty lame, lines looked like they were drawn with crayons, and the "birds eye view" that everyone brags about was pretty useless.
I couldn't plug in a new route while we were moving. I had to stop on the side, and without a touch screen, it took both me and the salesman about an entire minute to program the damn thing. You can do certain things while you're moving though. And IIRC, the G forums have how to disable the thing that checks if you're moving or not, so it's not a deal killer.
Although the graphics and UI were definitely not as nice as the CL's and just not comparable with the new Honda navi in the new Accords, TLs, TSX, etc. One thing I don't like about the new Acura navi and the Infiniti navi is the "night" mode is not as easy to see as the older navi in the CL's.

my dad has 2002 lexus gs and he is able to use his navi while driving... i dont know what 95gt is talking about.. i mean, if u can't use navi while driving what is the point? people have navi so that they dont have to stop and ask..
anyways regarding acura vs infinity navi.. i like the new tl's, they are bigger and easier to use vs the infinity. but dont just look for navi look at the whole value each car presents.. i really like the g35 exhaust sound.. i mean it turn heads all the time..

Reread my post, and everyone else has corrected you as well.
So I would say concensus is Acura = better Nav.
But agree with above Nav is not everything but I will say after having one in my CL i am hard pressed not to want one in my next car so it will be a factor in my decision.

I recently trade my CL for a 350Z w/ navi (I would assume the infiniti nav is comparable) It has NO voice activation...only voice guidance.....you can only program a PREVIOUS destination while driving. The nav on my bothers TL is leaps and bounds ahead.

Other than cost (maybe), I'm at a loss as to why Infiniti didnt include voice recognition in the G35's Navi system. It's avail in the current M45 and Q45 (ref. Visteon Voice Technology™), where you can also use voice commands to adjust temperature and control the audio system.
But, I do hate that Birds Eye Navi look. The loaded 02 Maxima I test drove (before buying my stripper 02 SE) had it and it was hard on the eyes.

I would not buy an 05 TL auto.
6 speed TL or G35C? I'd have to go test drive.
