I was just wondering, what do you have to do in order to convert the stock navigation into a DVD player? Is that possible? I heard that there was some kind of chip that can convert this.

yes it is possible with a converter.. maybe someone else can help you out withe the specifics since i dont have navi myself

no, its not possible to turn the stock navi unit into a DVD player. But people have done conversion so that they could watch DVDs on the navi screen with a portable or car dvd player
