Does anyone have the Nav audio and mute pinouts from the Nav unit to the head unit. I could care less if "Victoria" tells me I need to turn right, but I would love to splice in a bluetooth handsfree adapter and use this function.

go to www.installer.com they have everything you would need. they even have a universal harness to utilize you steering wheel audio controls with an after market deck or navi. Good Luck

 

I had the same issue about a year ago. There is a post somewhere (I can't find it right now) where the exact pins are described. However, I was unable to convince anybody to connect my bluetooth kit to these pins: regular car audio installer, local Acura dealership and Verizon installation store all refused to mess with it. So, I ended up just installing the handsfree kit and muting the radio myself when a call comes in. If you succeed in getting this to work, let me know.

I found the post -- it's from mrsteve:


... The audio mute wire is white/black and is connected to terminal 3 in the input and output connector on the navi harness. Terminal 3 is the top row 3rd from the left. On the back of the navi unit it is connected to cavity A14 of the larger wiring harness. Cavity A14 is on the bottom row 4th from the left ...
