My wife wants a S80, does that mean

I'll only have the second quickest car in the family now?

no , I dont think an S80 is faster than the CL-S. I think it might be in the low 7s high 6s at best.

Thanks. I just hope she's not wanting the T6 with turbo and 280 foot-pounds of torque at 2,000 rpm.

I thought the T6 was supposed to do 0-60 right around 6.6 seconds. I bet the S80 T6 is almost identical to the CL-S in acceleration. It's got more torque but weighs just a bit more.

I still think for the price, the CLS is a better deal. I do like the sound of that S80 T6 ovloV.
Gotta like those nice high dollar "array spoked rims" to, they look really nice! But to many bones you must put out for that car.


BTW, ovlov is Volvo inversed. Inside joke
at 16yrs. old when my buddies mom drove one of those 740 turbo grocery getters . That wagon hauled azz!!

actually... the s80 times are as follows
0-60...6.8 1/4 mile-15.2 according to motor trend

I'll have her test drive the TL-S and T6 right after each other and see if I can talk her into TL-S.

Heh, my Mom still drives her 740 Turbo grocery getter! I'll I've gotta say is that car has been through everything and it still looks nice, rides nice, and sounds nice.
