My SRS light is on
My SRS light came on yesterday, and has stayed on.
My owners manual says that it has to do with the seatbelts or air bags, and that I should take it to my dealer.
I will call the dealer, of course, but I'm wondering . . . Are there any dealer "smoke and mirrors" thingers that I should be alert for? You know, the "it's all your fault, so no warranty coverage for you" sort of thing.
It's a '01 cls with 73k miles. I have an extended warranty.
Please and thank you.

I heard the SRS is known to fail on all Honda/Acura cars. It happened to my mother-in-law's 02 Accord. It is best to have your dealer check it out. You can reset the SRS light yourself, but if it still come on after a few days, then you better take it to your dealer for safety precaution. You can find the reset instruction on this forum by the search tool.
