My new vehicle runs high 10 sec 1/4's

60 foot times are about 1.1 secs

155 HP


475 lbs

And in the snow and ice!!!!!

You can go into ontario until mid to late april some years.

We break out the jet skis for the Detroit River and Lake Erie by April 1st

Just remember to put some kinda bouey attached to the back so if you sink it you can find it in the lake later

snowmobile season was less than 2 months this year...
what bullshit for $700 in insurance, and $140 in trail permits...

sold my sled to a happy Newfoundlander.

weird... I never had to get insurance for mine... but then again I was living in alaska at the time. maybe its a canadian thing?

I had to get insurance for an RC plane. Cuz if you crashed it and it hit someone. Your screwed.

They are no joke... neighbor's friend was in WV doing 80 and hit a tree.... lost use of both arms. I've heard a ton of other snow mobile accident stories too... they're dangerous in the hands of someone who is careless or out of control.

if u know how to do it they can traverse water. i saw it on real tv. gouy drove like a mile out turned around and came back on a snow mobile. it was crazy.

Ya, I raced a modified one at the track when I had a crotch rocket. I could run a 11.2 (old 600cc bike). He ran a 10.2 and blew my doors off.

My insurance is 15.00 /month for 250,000 / 500,000 liability, fire , theft and collision with 250.00 deductible.

30.00 for trail permits....

Very little of your travels in the UP are on ice, unless you are crossing something. All of the trails are 10-20 feet wide and groomed.

Snowmobiling in the LP sucks in comparison.
