my lowering woes are over!!!!!!!

i had heard conflicting stories on the koni yellow's! some had said 20mm range 10mm up/10mmdown others 25 mm down and even others have said cant use the koni's to lower the cl??? well i dont know if they've comeout with a new product or some were wrong but the word from both KONI and comptech is 25mm lower front 20mm lower rear which is just about 1.0 inch front and 4/5 inch rear for me perfect well almost would have perfered the rear to go the full 25 but lets face it no way are you gonna be able to see a 5mm difference especially whenn the front fender gap was greater by a half-an-inch to start with...slap on some sways and ill have the look im after and some pretty darn good handling!!!!!!

stock just use the koni's to lower the car 25mm front 20mm rear ...both koni and comptech said it would work just fine and the stock springs would be fine you see ive mentioned i dont want the car to look lowered and i dont really care alot if the suspension is stiffer just want the look of say a stock bmw 325 stance i think this is it and add the sways and it should be quite nice

i would just worry that there would still be to much leeway w/ the stock springs and they would rub and bang more

huh not sure about that one but i think shouldnt be a prob...the springs should compress the same just lower down the shock body

okay this is what i'm saying. The lowered springs will have a higher spring rate then stock. Thus making up for the less amount of travel that the spring will be able to take since the car is lower. (it will also improve ride stiffness; which you don't want). But the stock spring will now be 1" lower then it normally is. That 1" will result in the tires smacking or the front end smacking when you go over bumps because you have subtracted the distance it can travel, but not the distance it will travel.

sweet deal, ya give it a shot first and see how it goes, then if ya need to i'd recommend the H&R OE's. They are like a .5 inch drop
