My latest 9-Dollar mod (acura-cl.com stickers) (pics)

I got my car cleaned up and put a fresh spring coat of ZAINO on for the big CL MEET next Saturday.

I applied my (2) acura-cl.com stickers and found one problem.
As you can see in the one photo, I didn’t get a “DOT” in the acura-cl “DOT” com.
At first, I thought it had stuck to the backing when I pulled it off, but it wasn’t there.

Rock Dog, if you’re reading this, please send me a new “DOT” to complete my order.
Also, these look more like Silver then the “Etched Glass” that I ordered.
I’m, OK with that because I like the way they look, but just make sure you send out the right color replacement.

BTW…How much horsepower do these things add?
I believe someone was going to do a before/after dyno to verify.
Was it 10HP per sticker or 10HP total ???

i like it, except that it looks like it's hanging in mid air by being in the middle of the window.

Well, I was expecting them to be more “transparent”.
A previous post said that they needed to be placed ABOVE the black window surround for light to reflect through.
Either that or I was sent the “silver” ones by mistake instead of the “transparent” ones I ordered.

If I had known they would be this bright I would have mounted them lower.

I have an extra white sticker if anyone wants it for free. I thought they were too big and bright so I opted to use only one on the passenger-side rear window instead of one on each side [rear] window.

I'd order but I have heard that the HP gains are tremendous! I want to try and keep my HP at the rear wheels BELOW 300HP to avoid excess wheelspin. With headers, ligher wheels/tires, etc... I think I am safe. But my fear is that adding these stickers will push me WAY over the edge of "powerful" to "insanely powerful!". I've even seen dyno's after putting the stickers on showing 15HP to the wheels PER sticker!

Silver CL-S w/ Navi, Spoiler, Wheel Locks, Trunk Tray, 19169, 9005
Toyo 235/45ZR17-97W* T1-S Proxes on 17X8 SSR Competition Wheels (47.2 lbs lighter than stock wheel+tire setup)
G-Tech (Full tank of gas, 60F, VSA off, SS) - 5.94 seconds
V-1 Hardwired, Comptech Sways on order

I don't think you have to worry about too much power to the "REAR" wheels.

Actually, the added weight slows the car down a bit. Plus there is a slight drag coefficient bump. I'll post the wind tunnel graphs when I get a minute.

Shawn, sorry about the dot, it will be corrected.
