I told her I think that's too cheap. So far someone has offered her $5000 cash. It's a 2001 CL-S with 167,000 mi and has had it's tranny replaced. She said the CD player doesn't work and it could use a new paint job other than that it should be in good shape. Is $6000 too cheap?

167K miles? I don't know about getting $6K's for it....sounds a little steep to me.

I wouldn't pay no more then $5K.
I wouldn't even look at a car with over 150K miles though unless it was a beater.

Unfortunately, I'd say it's a good asking price but don't expect to actually get 6k unless you're willing to wait to sell or get lucky quick.

Ours cars are more of a cult car. It's highly desirable to a small group of people, but most of the driving world doesn't know it exists so resale is pretty low at this point unless you find a fanboy who truly wants your car. I'd probably be lucky to get 10K for my 03 with 75K miles and it's in very nice shape.

U mean 2nd gen right! If not that prob is a little to steep of a price. U might need to repost boe, in first gen if so.

I'll take $6500 for mine.

2001 Cl-s with 151,000 miles . I had a new tranny put in at 99K miles and all belts and waterpump done at 110K. first $6500 takes it , might even take $6000. My paint is still perr-fect and EVERYTHING works!
I think she should have took the $5k and ran.
BTW im in north NJ if anyone is interested!
