My friend total his civic,but air bags didn't deploy?
my friend just total his 96 stock civic EX,the front end is total but the air bags did not deploy at all. his civic is totall stock and never mod before.but how come air bag did not deploy?after the accident,he was having the head pain for 2 days...insurance paid him $8000 cash

How fast was he going?
Also, did he buy it new or used. May say SRS on steering wheel but that doesn't mean it wasn't wrecked previously and replaced w/o air bags. I would get an expert opinion from a mechanic for litigation purposes!!!!

The same thing happend to me a few months ago. It wasn;t a front on crash but it was more of a glancing blow. Took everything off the front of the car. So where are those sensers because everything up front was either broken or toor off. Was it because it came from the side or was it that i was only going 10 MPH? I was very suprised they didn;t go off because the person that hit me was going about 60, and it was enough to rip my bumper into two peices. Im starting to wounder about this
