I live in Chicago during the school year, i street park. I came home one day and in horror. somebody smashed my front bumper of my friggen parked car, in a deadly hit in run. I was devastated. Filed a police report. yadda yadda.

so now my beautiful silver CLS6 has a horrifyingly duct taped attached front bumper...

my mechanic is having trouble locating a front bumper, so i'm looking into after market front bumper body kits.

my questions....

is just getting a front bumper body kit, tacky looking? i mean without getting side skirts, and rear bumper? (i'm not going to be able to afford those)

has anyone ordered a front bumper online? if so, how was the installation and fit, and color?

does anybody know where i can get Original front bumper? silver?

Last time I checked, Richardparker had a new, off-brand, oem-style front bumper he was trying to sell. You could try pm-ing him if he still has it.

go to oemacuraparts.com and price one out, then get your local dealer to price match.
then you just need to worry about paint

Is insurance paying for this? If so, hit up Wholesalepartsguy. He's a vendor on Azine from Hansel Acura. Maybe you can even let him bill your insurance full price but have him give you an extra hookup next time you need a part.

As for the front bumper without the entire body kit, I personally think that looks tacky.

Or make a print out from Curry Acura and have your local dealer price match. Many factor in the price of shipping and I like to use curry because they have good prices and free shipping. If your not in a rush to get it, I would just order from Curry directly or hit up Kaleb at wholesalepartsguy.
