Can't wait for the pics.
how much $ you have in the pistons, rods and crank ?
What size turbo are you using and how much boost is your goal ?
Are you building for street or track only ?
Glad to see you did not dissaper, nice come back.
I think I read in a differnt thread some where about your build,by a friend of yours.

sweet. I'm gonne get mine sleeved in a month. As asked before, what comp ratio? What's ur goal? What about valve train (springs/retainers?). Pauter makes forged rods, at $1200 not a bad price. Need to find someone to make me pistons, so let me know what comp ratio u gonna be running and if its cheaper to get 12 pistions rather than 6, I wouldn't mind doing that if ur down for it

8.8 :1 Compression ratio is what i heard from the shop.
and im not sure if its cheaper but i could give u the number of the shop here is tx where they make custom internals for J's
im gonna be running a single 3 1/2 inch exhaust and the turbo is gonna be located around the muffler area... do not bash on me for running a greddy t88.. i know its a big turbo but my moms bf totaled his sc300 and he had the t88 on it and sold it to me for 600 bucks
and im making a small estimate with hp im shooting for 600 hp but i could make less or more....
and its gonna be a drag car

I would assume they are using some form of traction bars, slicks, etc.

The hatches can get traction because they arent pulling over 3000lbs. They also dont have the torque we have.

The 6MT should be able to handle it. Id be worried about the clutch. But if the clutch, axles and tires can hold the power, something has to break.

Will this be your first high powered 6MT car?

The WS6 is a 13sec car, youre looking at building a 12sec FWD car. Thats a huge difference. Its more difficult to drive a FWD car into the 12s then it is to drive a RWD car into the 11s.

Every turbo CL timeslip i've seen has been in the mid to high 12's. Even with wheelspin he shouldn't have a problem doing it as long as he learns the track he's racing on.

Your never gonna hit that in our car with fwd.

You might be able to get away with 11's with slicks and nitrous though....
