On my way home today...some guy was rollin' next to me w/ his lady sittin shotgun in an 3.5SE Altima (stick). He kept lookin' over at me like he was hot shit, which got to me. His ride was black with what looked to be 18" chrome rims (btw, they were fucking ugly rims). Anyhow, I was on my way home, and we got to a part in the road where he was next to me and decided to fuck around by flooring it really quick next to me to see if I'd budge. We drove about 3 miles, and I never budged. We finally got to the freeway, and I decided to hop on the same way he was going. So the story begins...

I'm going about 65 in the 2nd to right lane on the 118E, and he slowly creeps up from behind going about 68ish. As he approached, I speed up slowly and we are cruisin side by side at like 75. All of a sudden he takes off. I decided to catch up...but slowly when there was clear traffic, since I didn't want to endanger anyone else's lives. So I catch up, we're going about 80mph, and the fwy is clear. At this point, he's a good 1 car length ahead of me and he takes off again. At this point, I already dropped into 3rd and floor it. By the time I reached 95mph I caught up to him. Next thing I know, I'm at about 110ish @ 7100rpms and I looked back and he was about 2 car lengths behind...with me still walking him. I shifted into fourth, and I slowed down, as did he. We got another shot at it again at around 90mph and pretty much the same result. I walked him both times to 110. We did one more run from like 75mph and I beat him by a tad bit more this time. After all was said and done, he continues to speed at like 95mph (which I didn't want to do anymore)...but I wanted to get next to him and give him the thumbs up. So I sped up, got next to him, put down my window, and he floors it and cuts me off and zooms straight to the upcoming off-ramp :'(. I tried to be a good sport. Anyways, that was definitely the best race I've had yet. I'm proud of my little baby. I'm sure if he ditched the wheels & the 95lbs of T&A in his passenger, it would have been a closer race...but hey, I'll glorify myself with this given victory Good race buddy.

I was thinking though, it's possible (if you think about it on the flipside) that he thought you were rolling down the window to start some trouble (gun, obscene gesture, rotten fruit<<<I know) It's questionable whether or not this was going through his mind, and doubtful, but he was still an ass for jumping in front of you. Since you're a CLS6, you should be able to hang w/ one just as I did, as long as you're a good driver. I really wanna try the new Maxima's and a 6spd accord. Some dood in a 6spd accord was rollin next to me, and he had some rims and shit, and I figured he'd wanna give me a shot on the fwy. A couple of times he fucked with me and I thought it was gonna be on but he bitched out
