I haven't ran the car yet at the track but I have done plenty passes on the street.

I ran four cars last night and beat them all. I haven't been out to the local meets/races in a long time so I decided to stop by with a few friends since I had the spray installed.

1st car- Built sti on 13psi making 330whp he plans to turn up the boost and make around 500 once he gets something figured out with the standalone he said. He just got it back together recently.

2nd car- Civic hatch with a k series swap unsure of mods because I didn't even ask.

3rd car- Civic coupe gutted with a k series swap I'm also unsure what mods he had.

4th car- 98-02 camaro ss the only thing I can tell he had without opening the hood was exhaust it sounded pretty healthy so I'm unsure of his mods also.

The sti and the k swap cars I ran twice from two different speeds. It was a good night and not one car could touch the cl especially on the top end haha. I definitely had everyone very surprised because they weren't expecting that.

I'm pissed I didn't bring out the go pro to put on my car for some nice videos. I do have some crappy quality videos from other people that were there though. I don't even know if they're worth posting.

That STi must have a huge turbo on it to make 330whp at only 13 psi.

That was allmotor_2000's car. He did a 13.5 n/a on slicks. The car was well prepped. It will be tough to beat that.

He said it was mildly built and he just got it together recently about 3k miles ago. He said once he get's something figured out with the standalone he plans to make in the upper 400's.

I have video of both races for proof. Which I will post now...

Here's the first race from 20-120mph I didn't spray until 3rd and 4th gear. Once I shifted to 4th you can clearly hear the clutch started to slip slightly.

Here's the second race from 40-120mph I didn't spray until 3rd and 4th gear. This time the clutch didn't slip at all and it was a clean pass. He actually brake boosted this time since the outcome of the first race lol.

I actually don't know if I even needed to spray so soon, since we were kinda close when I was N/A lol.

EDIT: The black hatch I ran was a H22 with unknown mods. Sorry about saying it was a k series swap. The blue one I ran is still correct. I will post some video soon.

Well since I did these few runs I surprised a few people and word spread fast. Now I have a guy with a srt-8 jeep on a 125 shot that wants to run and one of my friends with a srt-4 on meth. I'm going to try and get better tires within a week so I can spray from 2nd gear without spinning. If all goes well I have those two races lined up for next weekend. I will make sure I have the go pro this time so I can get some nice quality videos enjoy!

I love the line at the end, "He's on spray. He's on so much spray..."

He refused to believe he lost to a CL. I wouldn't have bought it either lol.

That kid knows me from the past, he's one of my buddys lmao. When we setup the race I said it was full bolt on's and they had no idea about the spray. So obviously after that run you can hear what he thought. I used to spray a 200 shot on my mustang so he probably thought I had a large shot on my cl. Not bad for walking away from a 330whp on the top end correct?

I shut everyone up on Fri night!!! The whole group of people was silent once I pulled back into the parking lot where they meet and talk after the runs. Everyone was standing around in a big group and I said who's next on the list as a joke to bust peoples balls... I guess word spread fast and I already have two races lined up for next weekend lol.

dont mean to rain on ur parade but..u started in 2nd at ur best point. and had NOS, u literally had everything going ur way.

IMHO if u beat the scooby from 0-whatever speed then u have bragging rights. but you won due to circumstances.

i dunno why u wouldn't go from 0.. he'll beat u off the line.. then use the bottle and catch up?

Because I don't get any traction at all from a dig. It already spins in 1st gear and slightly in 2nd depending on the pavement N/A. You can even hear it in the video. My tires are junk none name brand triangle talons lol!

The clutch didn't slip until I sprayed going into 4th lol. I only sprayed 3rd and 4th gear. I started in 1st gear. It really all depends on the pavement with these shitty tires. Sometimes it will spin bad through second gear and sometime it won't N/A. I'm trying to find a set of two tires locally for now, for my a spec 18's. I already have one pair of 235/40-18 falken 912's I'm sure those are better than what's on there now lol.

Why would he try to go from 0 on an eway? A win is a win and he clearly won You say he was in 2nd at his best point but the sti was at around 4.5-5k too so what's the point?

Nice runs. The exhaust note is killer

i ran with toyo T1-S and nitto draggers and i could roll into 1st perfectly everytime at the vtec change over the tires would go up in smoke... until i made a suspension mod.. after researching both maiximas and GTPs similar hi power FWD cars they would block the rear springs with a urethane bushing ... the ones i found were placed in the springs of the pontiac GTO's for shipping reasons from austraila... these worked great

i also spoke with a tech at KONI i had the SP3 sport yellows adjustable dampening but problem was thee adjust only changed compression not extension so perfect for the rear but not so mush on the fronts ... i was told i could send them in and have the valving reversed for the fronts which allow me to adjut the weight shift off the front which is paramount

I have a friend with a 12.3 mustang and i ran with him a couple times last summer and never lost by my front bumper being past his rear tire. Traction is a issue for me. I run good tires (Continental extreme contact DW 255/35/18 and i have to be careful in first or ill smoke them like crazy with vtec change over and can spin them in the 2nd gear shift pretty good. When i get my 3.5 built i dot know what ill do for traction. Im trying to find someone to widen my RH C2s so i can get a 275 on them. Oh and i have 200k on the clutch

Once I put my a spec wheels on I'm sure that will help somewhat since they will be a better brand and larger size tire. Other than that there's not much I can do until I have axles and slicks.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I had a few runs this weekend... I didn't have a full bottle so it was a little weak on spray compared to how it normally feels with a full bottle. I will post videos soon!

I've read about these when reading up on ways to improve FWD launch. They are basically urethane inserts that you place in between the coils on the rear springs to stiffen them up right?

Here's a couple videos of the two races of me against that 2012 accord that ran 13.3's with only drag radials and intake. Since that day at the track he installed unorthodox pulley set and megan racing catback exhaust. We were side by side the whole race...

I have a bunch more videos to post so keep tight!

Here's two videos of the same run with different angles against a 11 5.0 roush mustang stage 1 and a srt-4 that made 281whp and 333wtq on meth. My bottle had less than 5lbs in it so I had to choose my more important race wisely that night. I ran the srt-4 earlier so this was just for fun on the way back to where we meet and talk. That's the reason why they were walking me on the top end. I will post the video of me vs the srt-4 soon.

And that's on the street. Try getting traction at a track with that much power & FWD. Number 1 reason I couldn't run a decent 1/4 mile. I could never get any traction no matter what I did. And that was a puny 251WHP. Slicks would have did it. But I wasn't willing to destroy my only car or make it a PITA to drive normal.

I understand but once these axles are made and I put a set of slicks on the car the problem will be solved.
