muffler bearing recall

apparently acura is going to have to recall a number of very early production 2002 tls due to improperly designed muffler bearings. it seems that the manufacturer of these critical parts failed to account for the change in the allowable run-out measurement from the 2001 versions and binding may occur during operation, leading to possible damage to the car or injury to persons or property.

and another thing: did anyone else notice that the blinker-fluid service interval is halved on the new tls?!?? 1,700 miles? wtf??!?

I mean, what's the use of having a high performance turn signal system if you can't even use it? I know that when I changed my blinker fluid at the 3,400 mile service, I used synthetic to reduce the chance of blinker blocking buildup. houston summers are hard, you know.

(some people will believe anything. just watch.)

if you've got a canadian car, there will be an indicator for it - required by law.

the u.s. has no requirement, so it varies by manufacturer. I think it's the blank spot next to the one where the vtec indicator would go...
