Motor Mounts

I searched and didn't find much current info i was looking for.

Car has 112,000 on it and i know they need to be replaced. There is slight vibration at idle and a little more surging when shifting into drive and during hard acceleration. Is there a big difference after replacement?

A Honda dealership quoted me at around $530 for the front and rear, $300 of which is labor. They told me 2 hours for the front and 1.5 for the side. Does this seem like a reasonable price?

Thanks for any input.

I just paid $234 for the front mount only to be replaced and it was 1.5 hours of work on the report. The mechanic might have missed wear on the others as well I get some vibration but only in comparison to brand new cars. Remember you don't have to get them done all at once

u can do the front and side one by ur self under two hours. the rear one is more of a bitch and easier done if u have a lift. when doing the front one dont forget to put a jack under the engine. u dont need to do that for the side one.

It seems like a given that the front and side go bad together and need to be replaced. Really just looking for opinions on how much of a difference new mounts make when accelerating/idling. I think i will end up doing them myself.
