Mobil One, is it really worth it ?
Not the Oil, but the oil filter....im due another oil change after 6,000 miles since my last change. And I'm debating on buying the Mobil one oil filter which costs 12 bucks versus a regular Fram oil filter for 3 bucks.
Do I really need to spend an extra 9 bucks everytime I do an oil change on a high price oil filter, when I'm already using synthetic ?
Is there really a huge difference btwn the fram and the mobil one filter?

Just go with a standard filter and change every 3,000 miles if you do a lot of stop and go driving. Otherwise, change the filter at every oil change not to exceed 7,500 miles!
I have a Dodge mini-van with over 160,000 miles and it purrs like it has 6,000 miles on it. I change it's regular dino oil very 3,500 miles and I change the filter as well! Motor is clean as a whistle inside.

I don't think it's worth it. You'd be better off reducing your change interval (unless you mostly drive highway). Or, if you want to get more out of the oil, change the filter every 3K and leave the Mobil One in for 6K. Mobil One is great oil but dirt kills.

If you really want to know read here,,

kinda dated but yes mobil1, amsoil and some others are much better than stock, if saving a few dollars is more important than having the best possible buy a Fram or Honda.
