Hey guys, I'm new to the board and have been browsing, nice board. I see several posts about misfire codes but no real answers to the problem. My 01 CLS has been acting up lately and I have been getting misfire codes on it. I have taken it to 3 dealerships(no acura dealer withing 500miles) and no one can diagnose the problem. Sometimes the problem goes away, sometimes it runs fine. Every damn time i go to take it in, it drives great. I pick it up and right away I get the CEL and it will miss under hard acceleration. THe CEL either blinks or stays on.
So far I have had all coils/injectors checked out and they check out ok. I replaced all plugs so they are good. The one place thought it was a bad EGR but I thought before buying the EGR I would come here and see if anyone had the same problems. This is really annoying I just want my car to be fixed but its been doing this for 3 months!
I think its time to sell this car, but I really like it its been grat other than this problem.

Anyone have any ideas?
