Mile High Acura

Just wanted to say... I took the CL to Mile High Acura yesterday for a few things (one was motor mount, turns out it WAS broken) and ended up having the BEST dealer service experience I have ever had! They were communitive, professional, they remembered me, did and checked everything I asked. They gave me a TSX to drive (see CL-S vs. TSX debate) and even washed the CL (and did a good job which doesn't happen too often).

I just want to say for anyone in Denver, CO I would recomend Mile High Acura any day. My hat is off to them!

Just wondering what tipped you off to have the motor mounts checked, I guess I wondering what the simptoms of a busted motor mount are....

Tranny v. motor mount...

I thought my tranny was giving in because I would feel a kick with every shift..up or down.

Turns out that with a broken mount and the torque on the engine moving up and down was actually making it feel like the tranny was slipping and kicking gears in.....

Every once in awhile (like when it's pretty cold), when I wen't to start the car, it would give the car a little shake which isn't normal. I have had this happen in a previous car I owned so I know what it feels like. It was never an issue durring any driving tho. I never noticed it durring shiffing or accerating.
