the car is worth 4k or less stock because of the mileage. and the time and labor one has to put in to make it back to stock, plus replacing all the parts with factory. ehh. not worth changing back to stock.

just put it up on sale like it is and u might get lucky.

IMO, its all paid off. Use it as a daily. Sell the CT s/c. Get an NSX. Have fun.

I've seen lots of people invest so much into their cars, then sell it as is and don't make anything back on the mods. As well, they have a harder time selling it modded because you end up losing the interest of a majority of buyers (maybe a 35 year old family man is interested in a CL).

Sell stock, then sell the aftermarket parts separately. You'll still prob get between $7-9K for the CL and then you can make some money back on the mods you bought.

May I ask why you're looking to sell? If you don't want to share, I understand. Either way, good luck!
im looking to sell because im financially able to buy the car ive wanted for a long time which is a NSX and didnt want two cars. but after getting advice from everyone on here if i go through with it ill probably part the car out and keep it as a daily.

honestly it wouldnt be hard putting it back to stock. the only stock parts i dont have to put back on is the exhaust, headers and springs and of course the bumpers. i can probably easily find those parts to replace.

some really good points here... I would use the CL as a DD with it lightly modded (lowered)... part out the mods that give you the most cash and use that for mods on the NSX... keeps the mileage down on the NSX and keeps you in a car that you know very well and can trust (now that that the freak show tranny is out of the car)... I hate trying to explain "this and that" to NON-car peeps when you're trying to see a ride...

IMO keep it, and use it as a daily, because honestly I don't think you are going to get what you want for the car. and you will go through tires pretty fast on a NSX.

Yeah another thing you might have to keep in mind is telling prospective buyers that you have an 07 TL trans in there. Unless they know all we know, it'll most likely make them uneasy.

thats another reason why im just going to keep it as a daily and not bother with selling.

nice! i was thinking the cl has ran its course and it time to move up the latter of car status and the nsx fit the profile i was looking for. its a rare car just like the cl and it looks dope when you fix it up. ive pretty much made up my mind when i get back from overseas this year im getting one. im just researching my ass off right now about the car so i can just pull the trigger on one when i get back to the states.
