Membership skyrocketing!!

i've been here for 3 whole months now, and i've noticed that over 250 people have signed up to this board since i first joined...that's a lot of members, and a lot of "know how"

newbie's don't seem to be doing a search on their questions before posting. How many times do we have to see is $XX,XXX a good price for a CL.

Welcome. How did you find us?

Somebody point me to those acura-cl.com business cards....I can recruit a dozen members in August easily.

Does Acura make a body kit for the CL?

How do I upgrade the stereo? The bass sucks.

Why doesn't the seat belt retract?

Gee, the paint job stinks...

What is that booming noise in the sunroof?

Will 18 inch wheels rub?

Why does everyone pick on Amir?

Is a V1 really better than an 8500?

What is the better wax? Zaino or "insert wax name here"

I just beat a "insert name of car that we can not reasonably beat here."

and so on...

I read at Edmunds' forum that Acura only sold 1300 CLs in the last year. If that's true, just about every owner is registered here

Not every member owns a CL. I owould suspect that only a small percentage of CL owners even know about this site.

Ditto, but at times I wonder if I'm even missing anything as the quality of posts has seemed to deteriorate. More is not always better, no?

I have a couple more to add

Bulb for road lamp?

CAI? which one? what's the gain?

How do I route the power wire for an amp?

Those are the questions I asked when I just started to post and I've noticed that I'm not the only one

I wonder if someone could put in a
'please reference the FAQ prior to posting a question' in the 'New topic' screen?

How hard would that be to do?
Or perhaps put it in the sign up page.
