MECHANIC FOR AV6 swap Connecticut
MECHANIC TO do my av6 swap I have transmission just would love to go to somebody who’s done it before any help would be greatly appreciated

^ You can try and google your local area, say within 50 miles, for Acura / Honda specialty shops and give them a call. There's a possibility you will find someone (shop) that knows about the swap or has done one. Do your homework and be able to describe / explain what you need as concisely as possible over the phone or better yet, pay them a visit.

then I would prepare all the parts and documentation needed to make the job as easy as possible for your mechanic. for example: the parts about swapping out the transmission warmer and range switch.
you may want to tell him to not worry about the range switch cover and put that on yourself. It's not too hard if you have a dremmel tool or are very good with a utility blade.

Av6 swap
My car is at my mechanic right now and I’m worried if he understands what needs to be swapped over and if he just thinks it’s a direct bolt on with no modifications I just hope he notices everything and has it ready to go for me tomorrow. I used Castrol transmission fluid for my car any thoughts on that too?
