Me vs. 03+ Audi A4

Not sure if it was a 03 or 04 but it looked brand new with the new body style.

We had an open stretch of highway, all lanes clear and I was able to swing around him from the left. We were neck and neck till about 95..we both pulled strong. But then I just walked on him slowly 100+. I'd say by 110 I had about 3-4 car lenths on him and we shut it down.

The thing that bothers me is that I couldnt tell which engine he had cause he was debadged. The v6 has about the same numbers as my car(220hp?) but the 1.8T is @ 170 HP

Can't figure out which one he was. With it being so close, I would guess the V6? Or can the 1.8T give me a good run like that as well?

Nice kill! I've never raced a A4 3.0 but I've heard they are slower than the 1.8T

Yeah you should have pulled that pretty easy unless its a manual and your an auto. Auto to auto you shouldnt have had a prob. even at low speeds, manual to manual same way.

sorry to hijack your thread but I guess the A4 I ran on the highway couple weeks ago was modded cuz he just kept pulling even after 130 mph. And willdogs has a CLp vs my CLs w/ headers, intake. Hope I see that A4 again cuz I'd like to see what's under his hood. good kill tho!

Could have been, def newer doesn't the A4 and S4 look identical? I mentioned before that his turbo was screaming as he flew by. I dunno, maybe dude was spraying?? My wife and are looking at Audi's right now but I hear too many people mentioning electrical problems.

If it was the new body style and you heard the sound of a turbo, it wasn't an S4....the new body style S4 is a N/A V8 making 340hp @ the flywheel.

What kind of electrical problems have you been hearing about and on which model?
