Im just curious how much it was to get it milled. trying to see how much cheaper it is to go to a junkyard is all......also wondering if you couldve gotten away with an inch instead of 3 quarters of an inch.

dont mill it J!
instead cut the thin bracing on the hood. the hood will still be structually sound.
what makes the MDX spacer work is the volume of air it creates, milling it = less volume. less power.

I paid about 75 it might depends on which shop you take it to. You can probably get away with 1 inch, p2r website says if you use the spacer with the 2 thermal gaskets total thickness would be one inch.

I unsuccessfully tried to install the spacer yesterday. The tabs that hang off the side got in the way of the fuel rails and wouldnt sit completely flat...if i find the motivation to grind them off ill try again but i dont thinknthats going to happen oh well live and learn

Don't give up! Just zip them off when you have time.

Are people clearing strut bar with this spacer installed? Don't think it would clear my comptech bar, even with shorter j37 IM.

Are you talking about the rear plenum hitting the strut bar? I would have plenty of spacer left with the spacer on
