i am having a hard time finding a body shop that will custom mold my TL lip to my Cl...

anyone know any good body shops in the MD/DC metro area?

I was going to suggest Collision Autoworks, the body shop Tischer Acura uses, BUT when I took my lip spoiler there they were VERY resistant on painting a part they didn't order. In my opinion if they're doing body work for the dealership, they must be pretty good. They are located off Route 1 not TOO far from Ikea. Don't have the # anymore, but you can either look them up or call Tischer and ask.

oh thanks man yeai caled them up already collision autoworks that is..

they sounded really iffy about molding on an aftermarket not bolt on lip to my car because of the liability and whatnot..... they said i can bring it in and they will see, but they said its unlikley becaust it would be out of contract for them to put on a part that is not made for the car? or something gay lik that i was like.. ok whatever..

it seems that the lip just has to be cut a little and made smaller.. im 99% sre the lip is made for 04TL.

Pretty much how they acted when I brought them my lip spoiler. Just keep saying Tischer referred you. That's how the I got past the receptionist chick. She was like a goalie or something. Trying to block my request. Hahaha. I guess it's all about how much you want to use them. I wasn't desperate to use them but figured it'd be a no brainer if they were color matching so many other Acuras.

I am looking to accomplish the same thing. There is a shop called Obsession Motorsports in Rockville, MD: http://www.obsessionmotorsports.com/, which was suggested by Imperial Auto Body on Loftstrand Lane in Rockville. Imperial will paint the lip, install, and paint the front clip of my car after the lip is completed. (This is my plan.) Imperial was recommended to me by Darksom1 off the TL forum.

I haven't had a chance to stop by and talk to them about fitting the lip onto my car yet. If you get to talk to them before me post your findings and let us know. Otherwise, I am going to stop by their location this Friday and see what they can do.

The rims are 18" Ron Jon Servos in chrome. The tires are Toyo Proxies.

im getting my lip molded on and painted along with dents removed and a new rear bumper painted FOR FREE!!! hooray for friends with hookups!
