Masshole Meet Pics from 10-9-04

First off I want to thank everyone that made it because it made it a decent turnout despite the usual suspects not being there (Pete, Todd, and Andy). We had a good variety of cars there and everyone was super cool. As usual it was cool seeing Steve, John, and Ray again. It was also great meeting Will, Dave, Steve's friend, and the TSX guy. This was a great meet because we did not have a single car replicated:

Here are the usual suspects:

Some new rides:

Group:

Oh and here are some pics I took of the "love my mercedes" event I went to prior to the meet. This was awesome as I got to drive an SL500, CLK500, SLK350, E500 4-matic, and an S500 4-matic. The worst was the s500 because it felt more like a boat than my TLS. The SL500 was awesome but I didn't get to push it because it was my first run and I was a pussy. The CLK500 was awesome on the course and so much fun. The SLK350 was fun but the throttle response was a little slow. The e500 was surprisingly nimble and fun to drive. I would get this car over the S500 anyday.

Oh and Steve (in the Z) did a couple of awesome burnouts as he left! Car looked and sounded awesome! Oh and ding069's first gen is one of the hottest I've seen in person! super clean, perfect drop, great tint, and awesome wheels. Pics didn't do it justice.

Nice meting you guys and seeing the guys I already know. Will, you're car is super clean, you've done a great job with it. Steve's Z was pretty slick as well. Very clean looking car and impressive. I want to do a few pulls with a Z when I get my front mount intercooler and I think the car us running 100%. I think I'm getting pretty close.

thanks for the compliments on the Z boyz. Ray.... next year man, we will find a nice straight piece of road to tear it up. Did anyone get pics of the burnout? Good seeing all of you as well.

That was pretty impressive steve!!! I wish the russian guy were filming then because it was awesome!

I know a few good stretches of road in quincy so as long as we have a couple of "lookout" cars we can do it.

Looks like a good turnout and a fun meet.

Glad you had fun at the MB event. Driving that SL sure is fun.

Yeah it was but since it was the first car I drove I didn't push it as hard. The CLK500 I got the tail end loose a little on one of the turns and the SLK350 I had the tires barking all around the course...I still feel the rush

I will say that I wish I could push my car that hard (I baby it compared to how I drove those cars). The TLS doesn't handle anywhere as well as those three but I feel it pulls pretty well compared to the three, including the V8s.

Will, no problem.

if you mean the Z it had some Volk Racing wheels (have to look it up to know what the model is but I'm sure Steve will chime in).

The bumper really sets off the car. With that one mod, it really cleans up the lines... I said it at the meet, that's the cleanest 1st gen I've ever seen

We've talked about that... Just need someone to set it up... As long as it's not held somwhere too far south, most of the Massholes would show up.

In bristol too eh? I've never noticed you around. I live down behind brooks/wendy's in the first neighborhood, not one of the houses all the way down on the water. Used to live near the Vet's Home, and used to live across from McDonalds/down the street from dunkin donuts/papa ginos. Should post a pic of your car, I'll keep an eye out for it. I'll try and get a couple defining shots of mine today

Freddy is right.... It is a 350Z my friend..... not a G35. Those are Volk GT-C (8.5" in front and 9.5" in rear).

Another meet would be cool, or a mini-RI meet, Foxy Lady doesn't work for me though, I'm only 17
