Making wood trim stick..

I got the Acura dash trim kit for the gauges and the vents. The gauge part was easy, but the pieces around the vents are a pain. There doesnt seem to be a large enough surface area to make it stick. I cleaned the dash with alcohol and when I put it on, it stick for about a minute. Does anyone know what I can do or put on the back to make it stick?

Super-glue or epoxy or silicon glue maybe?

See if your local parts place can get you some 3M brand adhesion promotor for this sort of stuff .Apply some sparingly and you will get this stuff to be almost permanent .

OK, thanks, I will try to find it. The only place that could even get it wanted me to buy it in a box of 25 pads for 30 bucks. I got some trim adhesive and black super glue. Think they might work. But it has been my experience that I FIRST need to do a test area under the dash to make sure it dosent screw it all up. Anyone else with ideas?

Since the surface of the vents are not flat, you need a hair dryer to softner the trim first, so it is flexible on the curve areas.
