Making the CLS loose weight

With mods how much weight can we make the CLS loose?

Rims=
Tires=
Flywheel=
Headers=
Rotors=
battery=

6mt Weight: 3446 lbs.

Could the weight get down 3346? Basically loose a 100lbs?

This car is a daily driver so I can't loose any functionality i have right now.

what about getting someone for replace the glass sunroof with a CF one. 10lbs saving there, plus I think it would be more funtional and look better.

yeah, I'm sure you can shave 100lbs. Just don't get silly with all the bars for the suspension. Figure if you have all the bars available (2front upper/1front lower/2rear lower). i'm guessing thats about 40lbs.

Don't forget your CT sways are heavier then stock.

comptech headers are lighter than stock, get a lighter battery, brakes, wheels, tires and that could be like almost 100lbs

SSR Comps and Brembo is 56 lbs of weight saving according to my bathroom scale. Lightweight battery can save you an additional 15lbs. and a carbonfiber hood is good for another 40-50 lbs....anything more than that your gonna have to go custom and very costly$$$$. Look into the sunroof replacing Im sure its a cheap mod and may end up saving you a good 20-30lbs.

Agreed but that's a little more than i'd like to do as the cars cosmetic look would altered.

Cut out huge hole in your rear deck, rip out the trunk lining, cut out all the excess sheet metal in the trunk, and you've lost a bit. Who would do something crazy like that?

Zapata.....Macking Industries left me an e-mail....they want to know when do you want to pick up the Volk LE37 in 18x7.5 and if you wanted them to balance the Potenzas SO3 for you...no charge of course. Let me know I think they are waiting for a response.

Dude those rims are gonna look so HOTT on ur Anthracite. What do you want me to e-mail them back.???
