I know the Pro-Kit does not need any alignment kits/camber kit. I know the Eibach Sportlines, are said to reuire the kit. Although I never had any problems with my 96 Accord without the kit.

I have the Comptech on my CLS and I like the ride. And I like how it looks with the drop.

Here's the height difference :

Comptech(01-03):
front/rear
1.5/1.0

Eibach Pro Kit(01-03):
front/rear
1.8/1.5

Eibach Sportline(01-02):
front/rear
2.6/2.3

I'd do a search then and see if you can find some pics of a car with Comptech and Eibach and see which you like. I'd say the ride of the two will be pretty close.

But if you go with the Sportlines it would be different story.

oh, last question, is it necessary to change the shocks/struts when replacing the springs?

Not necessary, although your stock shocks will wear out much faster due to the fact that they are always compressed somewhat with lowering springs. Also the shocks need to come out when you get new springs installed so there is no additional charge to put on new shocks if you do it at hte same time
