Anyone had abnormally fast wear on the LBJ, being that the cl is a front wheel drive car?

 

Nope, it's likely a cheap ball joint or was damaged when installing and it wasn't noticeable immediately after install then wears out prematurely.

I bought one from acura and smashed it in with a hammer pretty damn crudely and it's been perfect for over 2 years and 40000 kms so.... I would have to err on the side of a cheap ball joint. I always buy those from the dealer... They do a lot of work on our cars and for 60dollars vs 10 or 20 it makes no sense to go cheap, the labor is the biggest part of the bill and that I don't wanna do again...

 

Ok cool. Part was a Moog part still under warranty so got it replaced, installing it my self this time!
