Low beams really close in?
Just getting used to driving my new (to me) 03 CL Type-S at night. I've never had a car with halogens before, so maybe i'm just not used to it - but are the low beams really close in? Meaning: when I have the lights on low beam I can see maybe 10-15 feet in front of the car and that's IT. When I'm on a street with no lights I can't see anything beyond 10-15 feet...which of course is not conducive to my normal driving speeds. Is this just how halogens are? Or should I get them adjusted to point out a bit farther in front of the car? When I hit the high beams I can see for what looks like miles, so those are OK...just concerned with the lows.

CLs don't have halogens, they have HID low beams, and I can definitely see farther than 10-15 feet in my CL-S. You'll need to adjust them, do a search

One thing about HID's that I've always notice..... The light projection seems to just STOP at a certian distance. Like Type Sun said though, I can see way farther than 10-15 feet too. And with the high beams on, I'm sure to blind anyone in my path. I did notice after lowering the car that my beam doesn't shine as far. But not enough for me to worry about. I think it's 'cause the car had a bit of a squat to it before, now it's nose is in the weeds moreless.

If your 03 CL-S has halogens, aiming is the least of your problems.
Seriously, though, you need to adjust the headlights upwards some. Not too far or you'll blind everyone, though, as HIDs have a sharper cutoff than halogens (contrast between dark and light).
And you will have to get used to the characteristics of HID lighting. There is so much more usable light than halogens - but that doesn't mean they'll stretch further down the road in every situation. They can't do this because of strict DOT regulations regarding HIDs. Most of the extra light will flood the sides of the road in front of you (HIDs have a very wide, even light output).

Thanks for the advice and I apologize for the incorrect terminology (halogen vs. HID). I did a quick search of the forum on headlight adjustment and it sounds pretty easy.

I now drive an accord....
Well I made the mistake of asking my dealer to adjust my lights after my drop
Afterwhich I couldn't see anything because all my night driving is on back roads with no street lighting. After arguing with them they finally said that because of new laws concerning HIDS they have to aim them lower then they came from the factory. So I just opened the hood and aimed them to where I am comfortable with them. I don't get hi-beamed so I assume there not overly annoying to any oncomming traffic
