Look what I saw in my parking lot today...

I just couldn't believe it. I just rolled in from Fargo, ND where it had just snowed. It was snowing in Minneapolis a bit yesterday. Part of the amazement I guess was the fact that this this was out in that kind of weather. I had to grab pix for you all ... Lorinser S-Class Merc ... you can see my POS truck parked right up in front of it. Oh, the rims are 21" Lowenhardt LD-1's ...

With a car like that, the owner would've beat you with a stick if he saw you lurking around his car.

Call me spoiled for living in Los Angeles, but what's the big deal?

Are Benzs that rare in your part of the country?

Thats not just a Benz S Class tho Goose, and were not talking about the ones you often see with just the emblem slaped on the back and the knockoff wheels either.

Goose,

Lotta Benzoes ... lotta money ... not as much as LA ... but still plenty. It's just that when the weather is still shitty like this, they normally aren't out. I've got a buddy with a brand new Range on 22's that rides all winter with them all. I guess these two guys are ...

PS. How many of you squinted to see the tire size in that one closeup pic

Never understood why people blank out their license plates on the internet, amir. Although I had a crowd from the office out there watching me since I was asking around for a digital camera. None of the girls could understand why I was excited.

If I wanted to jack the dude's car, I wouldn't be taking pictures of it, I'd be hooking it up to a dolly behind my truck.

Actually, I could've used the Samsung i700 we are starting to sell in a few weeks. Of course, it would've produced a resolution way above that of a POS consumer camera phone currently available on the market.

On a lighter note, if you own 50,000 shares of PCS, you could unload them and pick yourself up one of these babies. Of course, all the smart people dumped their holding last year when they were worth three times as much ... :shakehd:

That Lorinser benz might be a fast car but visually it hardly anything special. If anything, a 430 looks better and those ghetto rims SUCK

Brabus, now thats a different story....

Outside of Boston University School of management, like on every wednesday after class, I see a Brabus S class. Come to find out, it's the dean of the school's car. I thought how the hell could he afford that, come to find out the Dean of SMG is ex CEO of Ford Europe. His name is Louis Letaif or somthing like that. He's a really nice guy.

The thing about Lorinser kits is they usually tend to make the MB's look too gaudy like with the big star grill and vents everywhere...where a car like that doesn't really need to. It’s already an impressive car.

Take Lorinser's kit for the new CLK W209 for example, another over pronounced star..

Where the Barabus conversion is all class...

Umm... these things (along with the SL55, CL55 and S55) are common-place over here... hence you really don't see too many jaws dropping when one pulls up with $10K rims on it!!

Nevertheless... beautiful cars and wish I could afford one! Although that Lamborghini Gallardo seems quite attractive at $150K.

Re: Look what I saw in my parking lot today...

I see cars like these everyday. I work for the Bucs and all the players have cars like these with the same wheels. Nowadays the spinner wheels are the most popular.

I was in beverly hills about two months ago and saw a yellow F50. It is absolutely ridiculous all the crazy cars you see there. BMW cars are like Honda Accords in Tampa. I think I saw 12 Porsche 911 twin turbos while I was there. Crazy world.
